Begleite uns auf eine kulinarische Entdeckungsreise, bei der wir die reiche Käseherstellungstradition der Schweiz mit den lebendigen Aromen und Techniken Zyperns vereinen. Gemeinsam werden wir aus 100% Schweizer Milch unseren eigenen Halloumi (oder von uns auch (CH)-alloumi genannt) kreieren. Zusammen werden wir den ganzen Herstellungsprozess durchgehen und dafür sorgen, dass du am Ende des Workshops das fertige Produkt und ein wenig Hintergrundwissen zur zypriotischen Käsekultur mit nach Hause nehmen kannst. Wie immer gibt es leckeres zum Probieren und zypriotische Weine zum Geniessen.
Die Käseherstellung ist ein zeitaufwändiger Prozess, daher bitten wir unsere Teilnehmer, für diesen Tag genügend Zeit einzuplanen. Wir werden selbstverständlich dafür sorgen, dass niemandem langweilig wird - mit guten Geschichten, Snacks und Getränken.
Dieser Workshop findet in deutscher und englischer Sprache statt.

Make your own Halloumi Cheese! We invite you to join us for an afternoon of culinary exploration, where we will blend the rich cheese-making traditions of Switzerland with the vibrant flavors and techniques of Cyprus. Together, we will create Halloumi cheese, made exclusively with Swiss milk: our very own (CH)-alloumi. We’ll start from scratch, and leave you with the finished product as well as some background knowledge to Cypriot cheese culture to take home. As always, there will be snacks to graze on and Cypriot wines to sip on.
Cheesemaking is a time consuming process so we ask our participants to plan enough time on this day. We will of course make sure that no one gets bored: with good stories, snacks and drinks.
This course will be held in English and German.
