In this workshop, you will experience the Swiss craft of the beaver baker and have the opportunity to make the traditional pastry. To start with, Claudio Leibacher will take you on a culinary journey through the world of Biber cookies. You can try the different types of beaver and perhaps taste individual flavors from the specialties. Which cookie tastes best? You will also learn a lot about our raw materials, why we value high-quality, regional and plant-based ingredients and why we do not use any artificial additives.
In the second part, you will become a beaver baker yourself. Claudio explains how the motifs are applied to the beaver and shows you practical tips and tricks. Then it's time to get to work. Equipped with various models (wooden molds), a pastry bag and a spatula, you will make your own beaver, which you can of course take home with you. The course is suitable for children (from 6 years) and adults. Families or groups with children are very welcome.
From 13.00 to 18.00, our bakery is open to all visitors without registration to take a look behind the scenes. Children have the opportunity to decorate beavers.
